Investing strategically, growing oranically
Despite the difficult economic environment, we continued investing capital to grow our resource base and optimize our production capabilities to maximize our hydrocarbon revenue streams which, combined with our focus on cost control and the expansion of our commercial trading activities, allowed us to achieve yet another year of record financial and operational results.

A decade of delivering clean energy
2008 proved to be a year of contrast for NOVATEK – one in which we celebrated our first decade of producing natural gas and the other being the beginning of a global economic recession, and the first signs of economic slowdown in Russia after nearly a decade of steady, robust growth.

Strategy in motion
2007 was a difficult market environment for natural gas producers in Russia as we experienced an unseasonable warm winter this past year – the warmest in 126 years. Despite the weather, 2007 proved to be a very rewarding year for NOVATEK and our valued shareholders as we continued to achieve record financial and operational results.
