FTSE4Good Index Reconfirms NOVATEK
Moscow, 12 July 2021. PAO NOVATEK (“NOVATEK” and/or the “Company”) today announced that the FTSE Russell rating agency reconfirms that NOVATEK remains a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index following their June 2021 review for the fifth consecutive year. NOVATEK’s overall ESG rating of 3.7 with the highest scores on Corporate Governance and Anti-Corruption themes is ahead of the majority global oil and gas industry ICB subsector peers ratings.
The FTSE4Good Index Series, one of the world’s first global and well-recognized ESG index families, is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance practices.

PAO NOVATEK is the largest independent natural gas producer in Russia, and in 2017, entered the global LNG market by successfully launching the Yamal LNG project.
