ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF OAO NOVATEK TO TAKE PLACE ON 10 JUNE 2005

Moscow, 25 March 2005. The Board of Directors of OAO NOVATEK, one of the leading natural gas producers in Russia, has scheduled the Annual General Meeting for OAO NOVATEK on 10 June 2005. Preparation of a list of persons entitled to participate in the Meeting is on 25 April 2005.
