NOVATEK Launches the Health Territory Charity Project
Moscow, 27 September 2018. PAO NOVATEK announced today that it has launched a new charitable project entitled “Health Territory” aimed at assisting children with disabilities in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region (“YNAO”). As part of this project, lead specialists of the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of Russia will visit children of YNAO from the 26th to the 29th of September.
Under this project, the country's best medical specialists will assist children with severe diagnoses who are patients of the Tarko-Sale Central District Hospital and Novy Urengoy Central City Hospital. Councils for Medical Examination will also be arranged for local doctors, which will provide them an opportunity to discuss complicated cases with experts, as well as attend a course of lectures on child treatment.
Leonid Mikhelson, NOVATEK's Chairman of the Management Board, noted: "We pay special attention to social, educational and medical projects in the Company's main regions of operation. The goal of our Health Territory project is to render targeted aid to patients in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region, exchange medical expertise and promote new technologies in application of national medicine."
Note:
The Health Territory project was created as part of NOVATEK's charity program to help children in need of medical care in the Company's regions of operation. Project partners: Children's Hospitals Association, Russian Children's Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
Project aims and goals: ensure qualified medical care to children with severe diagnoses and implement programs in medical education and further development of skills of health-care workers by holding councils, consultations and scientific conferences.
